Wedgwood and Waterford "Bacchanalian Stand and Crystal Bowl" UK, early 21st century

Stoneware, lead crystal, leather
Produced as the first collaboration between the Wedgwood pottery and the Waterford crystal works after the merger of the two companies, this bowl and stand consists of a black basalt figural base and hand-blown lead crystal bowl with engraved decoration
Included is the factory leather gasket which protects the bowl from the top surface of the base
The basalt base impressed WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND", date code for 2001.
Gold-printed mark reading, "Bacchanalian Stand and Crystal Bowl inspired by the bacchanalian triumph and the figures Apollo, Mercury and Bacchus by Modeller A. Carrier de Belluse. Modelled for the 1862 International Exhibition. No. 7 in a limited edition of 10". The bowl with sand-carved Waterford and Wedgwood marks, hand-signed by engraver Robert Cunningham
