Each volume with engraved frontispiece and three plates, all printed on Japon vellum and all with captioned tissue guards. Publisher's deluxe three-quarter green crushed morocco over linen-covered boards, spines elaborately gilt, morocco unevenly faded, boards and corners variously soiled, rubbed, and bumped, first volume rebacked; top edges gilt, other edges untrimmed; marbled endpapers; a few volumes with very light scattered foxing.
