Publisher's deluxe full vellum, decorated in gilt and in blue, slightly bowed; top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed; illustrated endpapers; yellow silk ties likely replaced;
A near-fine copy of what is considered to be one of the greatest works of the Golden Age of Illustration, and Kay Nielsen's colorful masterpiece. This collection of children's fairy tales showcases his unique Art Nouveau style, and earned him international fame early in his career.
