(Lyon): Jean Pivard, 1500. 4to, 10 3/4 x 7 1/4 in. (273 x 184 mm). ff. (17), 382, (33); lacking final blank (dd10). With the alphabetical table by Gabriel Brunus at front. Gothic type in two and three columns. Full contemporary brown calf over wooden boards, stamped in blind, contemporary brass ornaments; rebacked; leather dry and cracked; scattered worming on front and rear boards, loss to calf in same; all edges trimmed; extensive contemporary and near-contemporary ownership inscriptions on title-page (many crossed out), circular ink stamp at top of same; scattered marginalia; light to moderate soiling in text margins; scattered light to moderate dampstaining along top and fore-edges; worming at center of ff.
