A painted and decorated architectural blanket chest Lancaster, Pennsylvania, dated "1774"
Flat lid with tulip-form hinges, having faint chalk inscription to interior, "Sprolley," (?), interior till, the arched reserves with painted pinwheels and flower baskets, inscribed, "1774," with waist molding over two drawers, molded base on bracket feet.
