A fine pair of Chinese famille rose-decorated "Balsam-Pear" bowls 粉彩過枝癩瓜紋盌一對 Jiaqing six-character seal mark and of the period ????? ? ??
Each circular bowl with slightly flared lip, on a low circular foot, finely enameled "over the wall", with the fruiting and flowering vine, bamboo, and a butterfly connecting the interior and exterior (the pattern also known as "bitter melon"), underside with six-character seal mark in underglaze blue
