Autograph document, signed.
Essex County (New Jersey), March 3, 1784. One oblong sheet, 2 x 6 3/4 in. (51 x 171 mm). Lower portion of an autograph document, signed twice by Signer of the Declaration of Independence from New Jersey, Abraham Clark, as High Sheriff of Essex County; likely cut from a larger legal document; counter-signed by Daniel Marsh. Lightly foxed. In mat with portrait of Clark, and in frame, 15 1/2 x 21 1/2 in. (394 x 546 mm).
