Lot Description

A Chippendale carved cherry chest of drawers New England, possibly Connecticut, late 18th century

Molded rectangular top, four graduated drawers, molded base, on shaped ogee feet, interior of top drawer branded, "G.W. Russell," verso retaining old label inscribed, "This bureau was given to M K J by Mrs* Russell/ It belonged to Dr Russells first wife who was Elizabeth Russell/ She was the sister of Reuel H Tuttle."
