Two silver tablespoons Peter Vergereau (1700-1755) and Nicholas Van Rensselaer (active c. 1760-1770), New York, circa 1740 and 1765
The Peter Vergereau spoon with shell and foliate decorated handle end and bowl back, the back of handle end engraved, "SELM," marked twice; the Nicholas Van Rensselaer spoon of "Hanoverian" mid-rib form, drop at bowl back, back of handle end engraved, "W/ I * L," marked twice.
