Lot Description
A Chippendale carved mahogany chest-on-chest Attributed to Ebenezer Allen, Jr. (1755-1793) & Cornelius Allen (1767-1835), New Bedford, MA, circa 1775
The upper case with arched top, closed pediment, fluted finial supports, carved and turned finials, two short drawers fitted with Quaker locks, over three long drawers, fluted quarter columns, and waist molding, the lower case with four graduated drawers, stop-fluted quarter columns, molded base, shaped ogee feet.
