A Centennial inlaid, ebonized, and parcel gilt walnut center table Attributed to Kilian Bros. (active c. 1855-1920), New York, NY, circa 1876
In the Aesthetic manner, the base intricately carved, the top inlaid with roundel containing profile portrait of George Washington (1732-1799), with eagle and American flags above and Patriotic shield below, flanked by floral and ribboned swags with tasseled date markers: "1776" and "1876", the top edges with symbols of exploration and industry, the long aprons with applied round bronze plaques with Classical profile of helmeted man.
