Two Japanese lacquer inro 日本印笼两件 Edo to Meiji period ?????

The first a three-case inro decorated with pine cones on pine needles in takamaki-e and carved mother of pearl, the interior also gilt-lacquered and inlaid with raden, together with a carved guri lacquer ojime and a mother of pearl-inlaid inlaid bone and wood manju netsuke; the four-case inro with inlaid mixed-metal horses in a landscape on fundame ground, and rats by a jardiniere with flowering prunus in takamaki-e; with a black lacquered oxen netsuke with inset signature plaque.

H(taller): 3 1/2 in.
