Cambridge: The Riverside Press, 1893. First and limited edition, #132/250 numbered copies of the Edition de Luxe, first issue. 8vo. Profusely illustrated in black and white by Howard Pyle. Publisher's binding of full limp vellum, decorated in gilt, yapp edges, brown silk ties intact; top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed; enclosed in a three-quarter tan calf over marbled paper-covered fold-down-back box. Card signed by Pyle ("Howard Pyle/his/mark") and with a drawing of a gentleman in profile laid in, 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 in. BAL 9042
