A group of jewelry and accessories late 18th/early 19th century
Comprising a pair of bright-cut silver shoes buckles, by Robert Fairchild (1703-1794), New Haven, Connecticut, both marked to undersides; a silver chatelaine with shield-form belt hook, circa 1810, engraved with monogram "EW," with three three suspended chains, one with ring, another with needle case; a needlepoint pin ball and chain from Chester County, Pennsylvania, dated "1808," with silver fitting and chain; two silver needle sheathes, circa 1760, one heart-form, engraved with monogram "ML," the other rectilinear, engraved with two hearts against a leafy branch, one heart engraved with monogram "MJL"; and a gold and hairwork mourning ring, with gold cipher "PC."
