Lot Description
A small Sino-Tibetan gilt-bronze figure of a bodhisattva 中原或西藏地区铜鎏金佛造像 18th century ????
Finely cast and chased, seated on a lotus-petal base, right hand in a vitarka mudra, a lotus stem held between forefinger and thumb, wearing elaborate bodhisattva jewelry and reticulated five-leaf crown, flowing robes with finely incised floral and scroll borders, underside of the base sealed and incised with a double vajra; later lotiform hardwood stand stamped CHINA.
