[Presidential] Washington, George, and Marquis de Lafayette Group of 2 Cut Signatures
No place, no date. Group of two cut signatures, George Washington and Marquis de Lafayette, mounted to one sheet. Each signature excised from an autograph letter to Brigadier General Daniel Morgan (1735-1802). Includes an autograph letter, dated August 11, 1835, from a Morgan Neville, concerning the two signatures, "I present you with two autographs of two of the greatest & best men, who ever adorned humanity. They are cut from Revolutionary Letters from them to my Grandfather, the late General D. Morgan of Virginia"; mounted to same sheet, 14 1/4 x 11 in. (362 x 279 mm).
