A collection of children's and novelty baseball and football items most first half 20th century
Including four miniature baseballs mounted for display, four turned wooden baseball bat-shaped pencil cases, one painted with red and blue ends, another bearing the printed paper label, "BonBons Fins/Maron/1614 Chestnut St./Phila.," a bird's-eye maple miniature bat fitted with a thermometer, a "Kiddy Bat/for Rubber Balls," a glazed sewer tile baseball mounted on a stand, a Japanese child's porcelain plate decorated with transfer printed baseball scenes, a folk carved and painted wooden tribute to Hank Aaron (1934-2021) of the Atlanta Braves and 755 home runs, and three miniature leather football-shaped change purses and a larger football-shaped "Spalding" trademarked change purse in early box.
