Comprising fifteen vinaigrettes by various English makers, including: Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham, 1799, 1800 (?) and 1808, "DJ" mark, Birmingham, 1812, no maker's mark, London, 1814, "W&K" mark, Birmingham, 1818, John Lawrence (Ledsam Vale & Co.), Birmingham, 1826, Thomas Shaw, Birmingham, 1830, Edward Smith, Birmingham, 1845, Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham, 1847, David Pettifer, Birmingham, 1848, "A&S" (?) mark, Birmingham, 1858, George Unite, Birmingham, 1880, all variously decorated and monogrammed, some with gilt-washed interiors; and two nutmeg graters, one egg-shaped, S. Cottle & Co., New York, NY, late 19th century, and the other in the form of a walnut, marked Dominick & Haff, New York, NY.
