Lot Description

A group of eight silver, gold, and brass fraternal and administrative fob pendants and buckles 18th/19th century

Comprising three silver and one gold fraternal fob pendants, including one double-sided silver pendant engraved "UB" above fraternal handshake and date "1806," the other side engraved with Greek letters Phi Theta Gamma over initials "AC" and date "1819," the gold pendant engraved, "Kneass 73 of N.Y." to one side and the other side engraved with Greek letters Alpha Pi Gamma Epsilon over "TBC"; a sterling silver buckle engraved with crest surmounted by Greek letters Phi Delta Theta, made by Baltimore Silversmiths Mfg. Co., Baltimore, Maryland, marked; a brass buckle engraved "Major Alex Stuart 1815"; a silver pin engraved "U.S. Christian Commission Phil"; and a silver repoussé buckle engraved "H.H. Tesch 1769" above fraternal symbols.
