A group of Marine related items late 18th/19th century

Including a whale bone serving mallet, incised with the intitials, "W.H.T."; a boatswain's whistle with a macramed lanyard; a silver wax fob seal with ship, bearing maker's mark "W.S," attributed to William Cadogan Simes (1773-1824) of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; a red leather pocket book/diary fitted with a pencil and with 2 stipple engravings on silk with portraits of "O. H. Perry Esq. of the United States Navy," and "Capt'n J. D. Elliott U.S. Navy"; and a Chinese Export porcelain cup and saucer decorated with a ship at sea.
