Horace E. Potter (American, 1873-1948) An Arts & Crafts Silver and Jadeite Necklace, Cleveland, Ohio, circa 1907

Original box with affixed paper label: "Horace E. Potter Designing Metal Work and Enameling 11437 Superior Ave. Cleveland", ink inscription to label: "#22" Loose, typewritten paper note enclosed reads: "The pair of jade wings (worn by women on the sides of their caps) I bought in Canton, China in a little shop on a narrow street which I think was called Jade Street. Mr. Horace Potter did the setting. 1907."
