[Private Press] Group of 2 Volumes of the "Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam"

London and New York: John Lane, 1901. Edition de Luxe, one of 375 copies. Illustrated with frontispiece and seven plates by Herbert Cole. Original full vellum, stamped in green and in gilt, green ties, vellum slightly darkened, scattered soiling to same, green celtic ornament stamped on front board rubbed; endpapers lightly foxed; with the book-plate of Algernon Charles Swinburne laid in at front; in green cloth fall-down-back box. Together with: (East Aurora, New York: Elbert Hubbard at the Roycroft Shop, 1899). First and limited edition, #447 of 920 copies, signed and numbered by Hubbard. Oblong 8vo. 67 pp. Illustrated with color initials and decorations. Full limp brown reverse calf, stamped in dark brown and in gilt; yellow silk paste-downs; text leaves slightly toned; in box.
