An assembled group of four mahogany ribbon-back side chairs Philadelphia, PA, circa 1800
Including a pair with molded tapering legs, one bearing a brass plate inscribed, "This chair belonged to Sarah Richie who married Joseph Howell 5 mo 4th 1803," and two with straight legs having molded edge.
