Peter Drach fils (1455-1504) took over operations after his father's death, and is known to have served on the city's council from approximately 1481-1504. Saint Bernard of Clairvoux (1090-1153) was a French abbott and leader in the revitalization of Benedictine monasticism through the Order of Cistercians. He was canonized by Alexander III in 1174.
