An Ituri River mask Democratic Republic of Congo

Carved wood and pigment, of oval form, with prominent brow above two square perforations for the eyes, a rectangular nose and open maw exposing two rows of filed teeth, decorated with cream and red dots on an opposing background, raised on a bespoke mount.
