London: Methuen & Co., (1924). First edition, first issue. 8vo. viii, 296 pp, without eight pp. ads at rear. Inscribed by Wodehouse to his bibliographer and biographer David A. Jasen on front free endpaper: "To/David/All the best/from/Plum/P.G. Wodehouse". Original red cloth-covered boards, spotting to spine, small nick on upper front board joint, slightly cocked, spine ends lightly worn; all edges trimmed; small chipping to bottom edge of pp. 5-11; lacking dust-jacket.
