New York: Simon and Schuster, 1955. First American edition. 8vo. 246 pp. Signed and inscribed by Wodehouse to his bibliographer and biographer, David A. Jasen: "To David/All the best/from Plum/P.G. Wodehouse" on front free endpaper, with initials "DAJ" to upper corner of same. Original quarter tan cloth over blue paper-covered boards, front board stamped in brown with author's facsimile signature, spine stamped in brown and in gilt, extremities lightly toned; in original pictorial dust jacket with $3.50 price on front flap, spine toned, else bright and clean.
