Wodehouse, P.G., and Guy Bolton and Stuart Walker Piccadilly Jim
New York: American Play Company, Inc., September 3, 1919. 8 pp. Legal agreement between Wodehouse, Bolton, and Comstock for another proposed theater production of Piccadilly Jim. Signed by all three parties but not notarized. The November, 1921 issue of Theatre Magazine refers to Walker having staged Piccadilly Jim in Indianapolis: “given for the first time on any stage.” Is it unclear whether this was in 1919 or 1920. A November 29, 1919 Indianapolis News piece refers to Walker readying Piccadilly Jim for a New York run. There is scant information in the Wodehouse literature of any stage production of Piccadilly Jim.
