Three-quarter burgundy morroco over orange linen-covered boards, stamped in gilt, minor chipping to spine ends of a few volumes, scattered soiling to covers; top edges gilt, other edges trimmed; marbled endpapers. Scattered foxing, toning, soiling, and offsetting to text and plates; numerous plates and text leaves trimmed; map of the racecourses of England repaired and laid down on linen, with some losses around folds. Shows much better than described, sold with all faults.
