Bound with: Medicina Corporis, seu gogitationes admodum probabiles de conservanda sanitate Leipzig: J. Thomam Fritsch, 1695. 4to. Both works issued and bound together, each with its own title-page, and pagination; first leaf a half-title serving as a general title for both works. Illustrated with 60 woodcuts in text, and printer's device on title-page. 20th-century three-quarter brown calf over old marbled paper-covered boards, red morocco spine label, boards scuffed and lightly worn; front and rear hinge repaired; moderate toning and spotting to text; head of last leaf torn away, with losses to printing; library stamp on verso of first title-page. From the library of David Hume, and with his armorial book-plate on verso of first title-page.
