Clamp-dyed stars in horizontal rows of 7,8,7,7,8,7 on wool bunting, clamp-dyed stripes comprised of two machine-sewn panels, canvas hoist with three brass grommets, stenciled, "Patented April 23, 1870" and "American Ensign 6 Ft."
