"Professor Darwin" 1881. No photographer or studio stated but one of five images of Darwin taken by Herbert Rose Barraud (1845-96) in 1881 before Darwin's death a year later. Image faded. Card: 4 1/8 x 2 1/2 in., image: 3 3/8 x 2 1/16. "Huxley" Ca. 1870s. No photographer or studio stated. Top left corner of card recto splitting, abrasion to top of same. Card: 4 1/8 x 2 1/2 in., image: 3 ¼ x 1 15/16.
