London: Printed for William Stockdale, 1819. First edition. 8vo. Illustrated with three hand-colored aquatint plates. Original gray paper-covered boards with an early rebacking, labeled in ink to front board and spine presumably by a previous owner, extremities worn, spine with some paper loss and a half-inch chip to spine head, boards with some soiling; front paste-down with bookseller's ticket, offsetting to free endpapers, a few pencil notes to text, scattered foxing throughout, concentrated around plates.
