Finely bound in early brown tree calf with five raised bands to each spine, compartments and morocco spine labels stamped in gilt, boards and turn-ins decoratively ruled in gilt, top edges gilt, fore edges untrimmed, blue and red marbled endpapers; near fine with a touch of wear to spine ends and hinges, interior generally clean with some ink offsetting opposite the plates.
