Finely bound in 19th century three-quarter brown calf over marbled paper boards, decoratively stamped in blind and in gilt, black morocco spine label lettered in gilt, lightly worn to hinges and extremities, small abrasion to rear board; brown speckled edges; plain cream-coated endpapers, bookseller's ticket to front paste-down, front free endpaper with a few short closed tears, tape residue to both free endpapers, light scattered foxing to text and a few short closed tears to folding plates, p. 65 pagination misprinted "55".
