Charis Wilson (1914-2009) was Edward Weston's wife, assistant, and model. She wrote the application that won Weston a Guggenheim grant in 1937 (the first to be awarded to a photographer), and is believed to have written a number of articles attributed to Weston. Cole Weston (1919-2003), Weston's son, inherited his negatives and printed them for decades after. Joan Rosenstein was a painter, photographer, and student of Cole Weston.
