Tmej, Zdenek (Czech, 1920–2004) Abeceda: Duševního Prázdna
Prague: Nakladatelství Zádruha, 1946. First edition. 4to. Unpaginated. Illustrated with photogravures. Stiff wrappers in photographic dust-jacket, variously chipped, with large chip affecting last "A" in title.
Photographs by Zdenek Tmej with text by Alexandra Urbanová. Tmej's "Alphabet of Spiritual Emptiness" largely consists of photos surreptitiously taken at Breslau in 1942 while forced to work for the Nazi war effort. (Roth, p.124.).
