Entries include the hiring of a “negro” slaver, three muskets for a local militia, “10,000 pounds Simone Nathan on the Governour.” Also includes a few more diary-like entries, one of which seems to refer to George Washington, “...you ask about your uncles...I hear of very often tho they visit very seldom, ____ is at present with Washington but how long or what about I know not I wish I did…ask your ____ to write to him to advise him he thinks highly of him…” Original limp sheep, scuffed and occasionally rubbed.
