[8], 145, [1], [52] pp. Illustrated with 24 plates; two title-pages, one preceding text and one preceding plates; three illustrations in text; headpieces, initials, and tailpieces; all in later hand-color; lacking map of Occidental America. Plate II (Pisces in mari alati) appears to be from the third edition, as described in Sabin (8784). Plates numbered in Roman numerals, variant, not noted in Sabin. Including blanks R6 and F6. Disbound; sewing largely intact; edges stained red; in quarter black levant over green cloth slip case and chemise; ruled and lettered in gilt; lightly worn; some scattered dampstaining; old mold residue present in some margins; text and plates toned; scattered foxing and soiling; some hand-color residue present on text and in margins. Church 153, Sabin 8784.
