Gil Elvgren is known for his work for Brown & Bigelow, a publisher of promotional calendars and other materials. Previously, he worked for the Lois F. Dow Co., painting pin-ups for calendars. In excellent condition, with a faint crease in middle of sheet, where it was folded. This iconic image, painted in 1933, is Earl Moran's first work for Brown & Bigelow, and helped launch his wildy successful career as a pin-up artist. Moran is most famous for his paintings of and friendship with Marilyn Monroe. In excellent condition.
