Worked with sixteen squares enclosing various designs, including: the Great Seal of the State of Maryland, crossed American Flags and a eagle, a Baltimore Oriole, Improved Order of Heptasophs emblem, a bicyclist, floral and religious devices and sentimental scenes worked in polychrome fabrics and heightened with silk and novelty thread embroidery, enclosed by ivy vine border.
