Contemporary three-quarter brick red morocco and marbled boards; spine richly gilt; all edges gilt; marbled endpapers. Joints rubbed; creasing to title-page, moderate foxing at front and rear, otherwise primarily marginal light to moderate foxing, moderate foxing to the loose plates. Ex-library with book-plate on front paste-down, pencil markings on verso of front free endpaper, and call number in pencil on title-page; plates free of all markings.
