Boards heavily rubbed; old ink annotations on terminal blank, an early ink ownership on title-page, hinges crudely repaired, one signature sprung, moderate foxing at front and back, other scattered light foxing to text. Ex-library with book-plate on front paste-down and call number in pencil on the same as well as the title-page. Wing B-2380D; ESTC R11888. Baskerville, John (printer) The Book of Common Prayer... Cambridge, 1762. 12mo. First Baskerville 12mo edition. With cancel title-page bearing, "Price Five Shillings, unbound." Full contemporary decoratively gilt black calf; all edges gilt; inner dentelles gilt; marbled endpapers. Hinges and edges rubbed; scattered light foxing to text.
