The dromedary standing foursquare with arched neck and head laid back, mouth open in a bray, bearing a pair of saddlebags with fierce beast masks between its two humps, glazed with chestnut brown and straw, the saddle blanket and bags with additional green mottling, the straw glaze of the neck, flanks, and toes with a green tinge, the rectangular base with brown and pale green speckling. Accompanied by a photocopy of a thermoluminescence test from Oxford Authentication, Ltd., dated November 27, 2000, stating that the test results were consistent with the presumed date of the piece. NOTE: The present piece is remarkable in that there appears to be no restoration to legs or neck of the camel, as is typical for such pieces, for they were often discovered broken and subsequently repaired. .
