A Chinese silk and gold thread-embroidered panel Qing dynasty
The rectangular panel finely embroidered with four gold and silk lions in satin stitch, depicted playing with a brocade ball, surrounded by auspicious symbols, cranes and deer, bordered at the sides and bottom with tree squirrels and fruiting vine, enclosed within a later band of blue and white flowers, framed and glazed. .
