A Soviet faience group "Friend to Birds" Konakovo Faience Factory, Tver, 1955
After the model by Maria Petrovna Kholodnaia (1903-1989) designed 1954, and depicting two young boys holding birdcages, marked to underside '59' with the date 1955 in green, '3' and '1' incised in clay, '3 sort' or 'third quality' stamped in green.
