Lot Description

A Meissen porcelain figural mantel clock emblematic of the Four Seasons 1815-1860

In two parts, the case allover encrusted with flowers and four putti representing Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter, the movement stamped "R. FLECK" to the backplate; the base similarly decorated; both with blue underglaze crossed sword mark, the clock with additional incised number "2172" and impressed "76." (2).
