A Louis XV ormolu-mounted and later tortoiseshell-veneered bracket clock François Goyer (maître 1740), 18th century with later elements
The segmented enamel dial with blue Roman and Arabic numerals housed within an 18th century case, likely originally with kingwood parquetry veneer and now later tortoiseshell-veneered and with some additional 19th century mounts, stamped to verso "F. GOYER" and with JME stamp; the 18th century movement with later replaced crutch and pendulum, the backplate signed "Joubert a Bonetable," the interior of case with original kingwood veneers; the conforming bracket 18th century and with later tortoiseshell veneer and additional 19th century mounts.
