Lot Description

A group of four Yixing stoneware teapots 19th and 20th century

Comprising: a spherical pot, finely potted, modelled with branch-form handle and spout, squirrels and grapes, underside with impressed seal; one of ribbed globular form with wicker swing handle, underside of cover with stamped mark, underside with boldly-incised "Ming Yuan", stamped seal "Wu(?) fu tang jianzhi"; square pot incised with poem, underside of cover and base with stamped seal; and an enameled teapot decorated with prunus branches and bamboo, stamped seal to underside.

Approx. H: 4 1/2 in., 11.5cm (tallest)
