Lot Description

A finely carved Chinese celadon jade "Three Rams" vase and cover

Well-hollowed, with a ewe suckling its young, another kid recumbant on the domed cover, two rams-heads with loose rings at the shoulder, of a very even celadon tone with only slight variations at the extremities and a few scattered lighter suffusions, on a silver wire-inlaid carved wood stand.

Approx. H: 4 3/4 in., 12.1cm; W: 4 5/8 in., 11.8cm
